When it boils down to it, there’s no better place to learn a European language than in Australia. Does that seem like a twisted skew of logic? Well bear with me and you’ll soon understand exactly what I’m on about! Say, for instance, you’re taking a Spanish course Sydney. Somewhere in the midst of a lesson where everyone is working on their pronunciation, you suddenly feel a twitch in your hips. Could this really be happening? It seems that your real reason for learning Spanish has morphed into some external corporal manifestation – you’ve just got to dance passionately with sultry Spaniards! Lucky you can duck off to Liverpool Street after class and call into Sydney’s Spanish Quarter for some sangria and an evening of salsa. Located in the “heart” of the CBD, the Spanish Club also offers flamenco and tango courses. What about a German course Sydney? It’s got to be thirsty work gruelling over all those conjugations and cases! Never fear, you can always knock back a few premium German beers after your lesson at the Concordia German Club in Tempe. If you feel like sticking closer to Circular Quay, just head off to The Rocks to the famed Bavarian Löwenbräu Keller. For the best beer garden snacks (How do I love pork? Let me count the ways…. Crispy roasted, smoked, barbequed, stuffed into sausages…) in the Southern Hemisphere, look no further than Sydney! But don’t forget, a strong European heritage means that Melbourne is also a top place to learn another language. Try a Spanish course Melbourne or even an Italian course Melbourne. You’ll soon feel right at home at the new Argyle Square Piazza Italia on Lygon Street, the centre of Melbourne’s renowned Italian precinct. There’s also the French connection – take a French course Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. It’s all there to be discovered, and Australia is a fantastic place for any linguistic, cultural or culinary explorers out there! |
